Curbside Screen

I found and rescued this 3-panel screen yesterday from a Decatur curb. It's 88 inches tall, 60+ inches wide. It's a little beat up. The family unit is mocking me.

What to do with it?
They paint chairs, like this one at Matre Gallery:

Thanks,

  1. No way Terry, Keep the screen-mocking be damned. Paint the screen part gold and the wood part brown. Then, you can pair it with the chocolate silk shades that picked up off the side of the road on Sunday, they're on the blog today-will match perfectly.

    Thanks for all your encouragement!

  2. Keep it, paint it! headboard, screen for inside or out, hang artwork, add bins and make into an organizer for magazines, etc.

    great find!

  3. KEEP IT! for sure. It's beautiful. Once you work some magic on it I'm sure it will be even better. I'm so jealous that you and Claire find great throw outs. I've never been so lucky. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm enjoying yours.
